The owner of this Bright Knight knife (made by Dan Watson of Angel Sword) wanted the blade re-shaped and re-polished to eliminate the grinder marks prevalent on that line of blades as well as the handle removed and re-made using no glues, epoxies, etc. In the end, the profile and geometry changed in fairly subtle ways while the surfaces were polished to a near mirror finish. The grip was hand carved from Purple Heart and the pegs are bamboo. The method used to mount the scales eliminates the need for any glues at all by assuring a pressure fit of the pegs that will hold for decades. The sheath remains as supplied by Dan Watson.
